InnoBridge: Strengthening future skills for SMEs in Saxony and the Czech Republic
The InnoBridge project supports small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Saxony and the Czech Ústecký kraj in preparing for the working world of the future. The aim is to support companies in developing key future skills such as digitalization, adaptability, communication and resilience, while at the same time establishing sustainable cross-border cooperation. Through practical formats such as company visits, joint case studies and networking events, specific challenges are analyzed directly in everyday business life and worked on in a solution-oriented manner. In addition, short, flexibly usable further training courses are created that are geared in a targeted manner to the needs of SMEs.
A central element of the project is the exchange between companies and universities in both regions. This is supported by a bilingual digital platform that serves as a place for networking, knowledge transfer and learning. It enables companies to make contacts, share experiences and access practical content - supported by AI-based translation functions. Through the combination of personal exchange and digital infrastructure, InnoBridge creates a sustainable basis for innovation and cooperation in the border region and thus strengthens the competitiveness of the participating companies in the long term.
