Summer Schools

The CODIP at TU Dresden is an active participant in the organization of the annual Summer School, which is hosted by the international partners of the “Education & Technology” network. In addition to hosting the Summer School in Norway, France, Austria, Indonesia and Germany in previous years, the network has also been able to establish partnerships with Kyrgyzstan, where the 2019 edition of the Summer School was held.
A key goal of the Summer School is to foster international cooperation between partners of the “Education & Technology” network.

Besides presenting their doctoral research, Summer School participants receive training in scientific research, empirical methodologies, and other topics related to the field.

Summer School 2024
The Summer School "Education & Technology" 2024 - “EcoEduTech: Potential of AI in reshaping Teaching and Learning to support Sustainable Education. Insights and challenges from Europe and Asia” took place in Yogyakarta and will be organized by our partner university, the Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta, Indonesia in cooperation with the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University Karlsruhe, Germany.
Summer School 2024 will have an on-site and an online phase. The on-site phase will be hosted by the Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta and the online phase will be organized by the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University Karlsruhe.
The online phase will take place in two blocks, before and after the on-site phase.
Organization of the Summer School 2024:
- Online phase before on-site phase: from 23rd September to 4th October 2024.
- On-site phase in Yogyakarta: from 7th to 11th October 2024.
- Online phase after on-site phase: from 14th to 18th October 2023.
