Summer Schools
The CODIP at TU Dresden is an active participant in the organization of the annual Summer School, which is hosted by the international partners of the “Education & Technology” network. In addition to hosting the Summer School in Norway, France, Austria, Indonesia and Germany in previous years, the network has also been able to establish partnerships with Kyrgyzstan, where the 2019 edition of the Summer School was held.
A key goal of the Summer School is to foster international cooperation between partners of the “Education & Technology” network.

Besides presenting their doctoral research, Summer School participants receive training in scientific research, empirical methodologies, and other topics related to the field.

The Summer School "Education & Technology" 2023 - “Crossroads in Education & Digital Technology - Where do we go from here in times of ChatGPT and AI?” will take place in Karlsruhe and will be organised by our partner university, the "Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University Karlsruhe, Germany" in cooperation with the Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
As every year, a varied and intensive program of seminars, workshops, consultations, lectures, etc. will be organised for Summer School this year.
In addition to the intensive course program, social and cultural activities for international guests are also planned and provided. A wide range of cultural and leisure activities is planned for this purpose.
Summer School 2023 will have an on-site and an online phase. The on-site phase will be hosted by the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University Karlsruhe and the online phase will be organised by the Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta.
The online phase will take place in two blocks, before and after the on-site phase.
Organisation of the Summer School 2023:
- Online phase before on-site phase: from 11th to 24th September 2023.
- On-site phase in Karlsruhe: from 25th September to 1st October 2023.
- Online phase after on-site phase: from 2nd to 8th October 2023.
