The second temple is inaugurated
While the tests of the first temple are almost complete, the testing phase of the paper prototype of our second temple begins. We were now able to have both of them tested by occupational health and safety experts.
At the end of July, we visited the professional association for health and welfare services (BGW) with the revised paper prototype of the first temple. After many tests focused on the game mechanics, we now wanted to know how well the content was prepared. To do this, an expert in health and safety in nursing had to test the temple. This run was a huge benefit for us, as we received a lot of constructive advice and were shown where further adjustments were necessary. The biggest challenge, so our result, is to find a balance between the regulations and the clarity. Despite these comments, the expert found our concept to be conclusive and entertaining.
On July 27th there was a small premiere. The paper prototype of the second temple, which deals with risk assessment, was tested for the first time. We met with experts in the premises of the Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (BAuA) to discuss content-related aspects. The mini-games were discussed particularly intensively. We received important information on improvement and usability, which we will implement by the next test run. Otherwise, our temple concept was praised as varied and informative. We are very happy about the informative test runs and would like to thank the experts from BGW and BAuA again for their constructive comments and their time.
While the first temple is also becoming increasingly clear digitally, the conception team is now concentrating on the tests of the second temple. These are carried out with experts from media didactics but also with the target group. This allows us to design a motivating gameplay and adapt the content to the needs of future players.
