TU Dresden supports the national research network "Leistung macht Schule".
Teaching that promotes aptitude and performance for all students regardless of their background, gender, and social status is the goal of the research network "Leistung macht Schule" (LemaS-Transfer). In the second funding phase, which has now been approved by the BMBF, the emphasis lies on transfer to the school landscape.
"The main focus is on integrating the strategies, concepts and measures developed and tested in the first phase into school practice and thus challenging and promoting the individual talent of students," says project coordinator Prof. Dr. Gabriele Weigand from the Karlsruhe University of Education.
As a new project partner, the Center for Open Digital Innovation and Participation (CODIP) at TU Dresden is taking on the area of digitization to support successful transfer processes. In close collaboration with the Chair of General Education research focus “Studies in abilities and development of competencies” at Leipzig University, a sustainable and user-friendly online platform is to be created that is closely aligned with the needs of the various user groups.
