PhD student of the IAP awarded with LOPEC-poster prize

Martin Schwarze, PhD student at the IAP in the group "organic devices and structures" was awarded with the prize for the the best poster at the LOPEC 2018 (international trade fair and conference for printed electronics). The group of Prof. Leo was awarded for their investigations of bio-compatible materials allowing novel applications in medical technology. Supported by the Hector Fellow Academy and in collaboration with collegues from Tübingen (Prof. Zrenner) and Karlsruhe (Prof. Kappes and Prof. Wegener),  powerful and long lasting electrodes for retina implantes were developed. The LOPEC is a worlds leading event in printed electronics connecting scientists, technicians and entrepreneurs in this emerging technology.
