Clean Energy Transition (CET) Call 2024 coming soon!
The Clean Energy Transition (CET) partnership aims to accelerate the transition to clean energy in order to achieve the goal of climate neutrality by 2050. It is a transnational and strategic partnership to align research, development and innovation (RDI) strategies, leverage knowledge and experience and promote systemic change. Around 50 national/regional funding organizations from more than 30 countries in Europe and beyond participate in the CET partnership and are co-funded by the European Union (EU) through the RDI Framework Programme Horizon Europe (HE).

- Participants from Saxon institutions (universities and research institutions) are funded by the SMWK via the EuProNet guideline, Saxon companies via the ERDF/JTF Technology Funding 2021 to 2027 guideline.
- Saxony funds all call modules.
- For universities, 100% of the project costs are funded (without a lump sum).
- The SMWK emphasizes the high funding rate of excellent Saxon research applications.
Timetable and funding conditions:
- 21.11.2024 - pre-proposal submission
- 31.03.2025 - proposal submission
- Funding is available for collaborative projects with at least 3 partners from 3 participating countries
- At least 2 partners must come from the EU or Horizon Europe associated countries
