AGROECOLOGY Partnership announces its Call for 2025!
The European Partnership to Accelerating the Transition to Farming Systems - Agroecology Living Labs and Research Infrastructures (AGROECOLOGY) has launched its second call "Integrating environmental, economic and social perspectives in assessing the performance of agroecology. Value-chain and policy implications".
The call has two thematic focuses:
Topic 1: Determineand assess the benefits/impacts and trade-offs of agroecology and identify best practices
- Methods and procedures to trackle trade-offs in agroecological production
- Scenario analysis to identify and support the most suitable options to accelerate the adoption of the identified best practice at different spatial and temporal scales
Topic 2: Transform value chains, businesses and policies to facilitate the transition to agroecology
- Transformation and development of new business models in value chains to facilitate the agroecological transition
- Coordination among actors, social innovations and policies to enhance the agroecological transition
Timeline and funding conditions:
- February 17, 2025 - pre-proposal submission
- July 09, 2025 - full-proposal submission
- Funding for joint projects with min 3 partner from 3 participating countries
- BMBF (Topic 1 and 2) and BMLE (Topic 1) funding
