Water4All Call 2025 „ Water for Health “ out now!
The European Water4All Partnership will soon publish its fourth call "Water and Health", in which around 31 funding organizations from all over Europe and beyond are participating.
- Publication of calls: September 12, 2025
- Funding volume: approx. € 23.8 million
Focus: Funding is available for projects that address at least one of the following topics
- Waterborne pollutants & health risks
- Innovative technologies for water quality and exposure measurement
- Water treatment and risk reduction
- Governance, socio-economic innovations and policy networking
Framework & Relevance: The call follows the Water4All "One Health" approach, takes into account the strategic objectives of the European Green Deal, the Water Framework Directive, the Zero Pollution Strategy and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Why this is relevant for you: This transnational call offers an excellent opportunity to make your expertise in water and health internationally visible, to attract new cooperation partners and to contribute to shaping evidence-based water policy. Participation strengthens both research profiles and curricular-innovative potentials.
Timetable and funding conditions:
- 25.09.2025 - Info webinar
- 13.11.2025 - Submission of project outline
- 13.04.2026 - Submission of full proposal
- Min. 3 partners from at least 3 different participating countries
- Max. 7 partners possible
- 36 months project duration
- Max. 350,000 EUR for German project partners (500,000 EUR if coordinator)
Countries expected to participate: Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Moldova (Republic of), Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Tunisia, Turkey, United Kingdom.
