TU Dresden's success in Erasmus+ project funding - International Staff Training Week for successful project management
TU Dresden is pleased to announce a large number of approved projects in the EU Erasmus+ program. In Call 2025, TUD was involved in a total of 46 applications and can already report 10 approvals - with almost half of the results still to be announced. Particularly noteworthy: The TUD is taking on the role of coordinator in 8 of these projects.
The TUD's projects are located in very different funding lines of Erasmus+ project funding, from capacity building projects in the higher education sector to classic cooperation partnerships and alliances for innovation with entrepreneurial aspects. This illustrates the diversity and breadth of the activities of our university's academics. At the same time, the projects come from very different subject areas and show that Erasmus+ project funding is attractive for the entire spectrum of science. The following projects were approved:
- Teaching digital competence and media literacy in Ukraine (TeDiMeLi), capacity building in higher education, Prof. Dr. Holger Kuße, Faculty SLK
- Digital Literacy Guidance in Teacher Education for Critical Empowerment (DILIGENCE), capacity building in higher education, Maria-Richter-Babekoff, ZLSB
- Promoting Alternative Paths for Fuel Retailers (InFUELencer), Cooperation partnerships, Prof. Dr. Remmer Sassen, Faculty of Business and Economics

The project leaders are competently supported by the EPC's Erasmus+ team during the implementation of the projects. In order to accompany the projects to a successful conclusion through good project management, the EPC is organizing an International Staff Training Week on "Advanced Project Management for Erasmus+ KA2 Projects" from 15-19.09.2025 in cooperation with the Friedrich Schiller University Jena. With almost 20 participants from all over Europe, various aspects of project implementation will be discussed and examples of good practice from the participating universities will be exchanged. Topics will include publicizing the funding lines in their own university, successful reporting, strategic application preparation (also within the framework of the European University Alliances), financial management, AI support as well as impact and quality assurance. We will talk to Beate Körner, Head of Unit at the National Agency at the DAAD, about cooperation with the funding body.
The EPC Erasmus+ team is looking forward to the international exchange on a professional level and to using the knowledge gained to support new and ongoing Erasmus+ projects!
