Erasmus+
The Erasmus+ program aims to support actions in the fields of Education, Training, Youth and Sport for the period 2021 - 2027.
This page provides initial information about the follow-up program.
The program aims to improve skills and employability and promote the modernization of education, training and child and youth welfare systems. The program aims to help support the European political agenda for growth, jobs, justice and social inclusion. Please contact the International Office for information on mobilities (student exchanges, faculty exchanges).
Projects coordinated by TU Dresden:
In the higher education sector, Erasmus+ provides funding to promote students, higher education institutions, higher education staff and partners from the non-academic area. Cooperation with schools, companies, institutions for adult education and youth associations is also supported.
In order to achieve its objectives, the Erasmus+ Programme implements the following Actions:
Key Action 1:
Mobility - Learning Mobility of Individuals

Key Action 2:
Cooperation - Cooperation for Innovation and Good Practices
The following activities are supported as being particularly relevant for the higher education sector:
Cooperation Partnerships
Promoting innovation and exchange of good practice within the (higher) education sector through cooperation between (higher) education institutions and institution from various sectors of society within the EU
Alliances for Innovation
Cooperation between higher education institutions and enterprises to promote Europe's innovation capacity
Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE)
Cooperation projects between higher education institutions in the EU and its Neighbour States (ENP), or the countries of Asia, Latin America and Africa
Erasmus-Teaching-Academies
The overall objective of this action is to create European partnerships of teacher education and training
Erasmus Mundus
Development of Joint European Master Programmes leading to a double or joint degree
Key Action 3:
Policy - Support to Policy Reform
Forward-Looking-Projects
This Key Action supports the Bologna Process, the initiation of co-operation across all areas of education, and policy dialogue with third countries. There are specific calls issued, for example on country analysis or on specific educational topics.
