Restriction on participation in Erasmus+ applications in capacity building
We would like to draw the attention of TUD members to an important innovation in the Erasmus+ Call, program area "Capacity Building in Higher Education". It has turned out that in the current call only 2 applications per organization can be submitted as coordinating institution. Unfortunately, this restriction makes an internal TUD pre-selection necessary.
This procedure serves to ensure a transparent, fair and strategically justified selection and to avoid unnecessary workload for projects that cannot be pursued.
Associate members of TU Dresden who are planning a project proposal and would like to act as coordinator in it are therefore required to submit a brief outline of their project idea to the EPC by Wednesday, December 17 at 2:00 pm(). The template, including the evaluation criteria, is available for password-protected download here .
All short outlines will then undergo an internal assessment by the EPC's Erasmus+ team in a fast-track procedure, and an export control assessment will be carried out at the same time. The review results are then prepared for a decision at university management level, in which the two applications in which the TUD acts as coordinator are selected. All interested parties will be informed of the decision in the 1st week of January (05.-09.01.2026).
We are aware that this procedure may cause delays and additional coordination steps in the project preparation, which we very much regret. Nevertheless, it is essential that the two coordinated applications are selected in an orderly and objectively comprehensible process.
The selected projects will be comprehensively supported by the EPC in the further elaboration and formal preparation of the application.
The participation of the TUD as a partner in consortia is not subject to any restrictions.
