As part of the Federal Government's strategy for the internationalization of education, science and research, the BMBF has published the funding programme fort he integration of Eastern Partnership countries into the European Research Area - Bridge2ERA EaP.

The aim of this funding programme is to involve German applicants and their partners of the countries of the Eastern Partnership (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine) more closely in the current and the next Research Framework Programme through joint research and innovation projects in order to enable intensive and long-term cooperation.

The exchange of personnel, the coordination of international cooperation as well as the organization of events / project workshops are supposed to be funded. Aim of the funding is the preparation of application for research and development projects, which are aligned to the topics of Horizon 2020 resp. Horizon Europe.

The submission deadline for project application is 6 December 2019.
