Joint Programming Initiative on Antimicrobial Resistance (JPIAMR): Third joint call for proposals
European and non-European organizations have launched a third joint call for proposals through the Joint Programming Initiative on Antimicrobial Resistance (JPIAMR). This initiative aims to unravel the dynamics of transmission and selection of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) at genetic, bacterial, animal, human, societal, and environmental levels, in order to design and evaluate preventive and intervening measures for controlling resistance.
The call is conducted simultaneously by 22 participating funding organizations from 17 JPIAMR member countries (including Germany). The total funding for this call is over 30 million euro; for German scientists are approx. 3 million EUR available.
Each project proposal must involve a maximum of 6 partners from at least three 3 participating countries (maximum of 2 partners per funding agency).
Funding will be awarded for a maximum of 3 years.
The call has a two-step procedure. The pre-proposal submission deadline is on March 21, 2016.The deadline for full proposal (after invitation) is July 04, 2016.
