Digital Cleanup - Tips and tricks to reduce digital waste (Talk in German)
Whether at work or at home, a lot of data and files accumulate on all our devices (laptop, PC, smartphone, but also in the cloud, ...) - even those that we no longer need. Sometimes it is difficult to decide which files can be deleted and which should be archived. Sometimes we simply don't have the time to look through them in detail.
This presentation is intended to provide an introduction to how to confront the flood of digital data. Dr Katharina Zinke from the team research data of SLUB will take us into the world of files. She will show us which files we should keep, which formats can still be opened in 20 years' time and how we can store the really important files as securely as possible. There will also be tips on how to deal with the flood of emails in our inboxes and how to tidy up our smartphones. Afterwards, there will be time for questions and suggestions.
Registration via the SLUB events calendar.
