Archiving and publishing my research data following good scientific practice - An introductory lecture on when, how and where. (in English)
Registration see below
To comply with good scientific practice, research data and all associated information that allows the traceability and reproducibility of research should be securely archived for at least 10 years. In addition, many German research funding institutions and European funding programs now require mandatory information on reuse of the data after completion of the project (subsequent use and data publication).
Consequently, this lecture offers an introduction to the topics of archiving and publishing research data. You will learn what archiving actually means and when data archiving makes sense within your own research practice. You will be shown how data sets can be prepared for archiving and publication and where they can be archived or published.
