Alfried Krupp Grant

The Alfried Krupp von Bohlen und Halbach Foundation is once again inviting applications for the €1.1 million Alfried Krupp Sponsorship Award for 2026.

Young university professors in the natural sciences and engineering (including medicine) with outstanding scientific qualifications and already excellent research achievements whose ability to research and teach has been confirmed by their first appointment to a permanent or fixed-term Chair (W2 or W3 professorship) at a university in the Federal Republic of Germany can be nominated.

Individuals, research institutions and universities are eligible to nominate candidates. Self-applications are excluded.

Proposals are accepted by the Rector's Office (deadline for submission to the Rector's Office: January 16, 2026 to Mandy Dziubanek, Office of the Rector/Academic Committees, e-mail ).
