Dresden Physics Prize donated by P. Fulde
The Dresden Physics Prize, donated by P. Fulde, will once again be awarded jointly by the Max Planck Institute for the Physics of Complex Systems and the Dresden University of Technology (TUD) in 2026.
The prize is endowed with EUR 5,000 and is awarded according to the following criteria:
- Nominations should concern individuals who, as scientists, maintain or wish to establish a close relationship with both institutions.
- Nominees should be particularly distinguished scientists in terms of their scientific age. The nominees are not subject to any age restrictions.
- If they are former employees or long-term guests of one of the two institutions, this activity should have taken place at least three years ago.
The proposals must be submitted to the chairman of the jury, Prof. Dr. Dmytro Inosov, in electronic form to by September 30, 2025. The proposal should include a justification and further information such as the curriculum vitae.
The future belongs to those who work together. Under this guiding idea, Dresden physicist Prof. Dr. Peter Fulde founded the Dresden Physics Prize in 2015 to intensify collaboration between the Max Planck Institute for the Physics of Complex Systems and TU Dresden.
