1. Finding the suitable funding
Information on current calls for research proposals is published monthly. Please subscribe to the TUD Research News (FONA) for the relevant faculty. You are also welcome to use the research tool ResearchConnect to search for suitable calls for research proposals yourself. You can find a quick guide here: ResearchConnect - How to get started.

Do you have a project idea but don't yet know exactly where to apply for funding? Are you looking for project partners and networking opportunities within TU Dresden and beyond? Feel free to contact the Project Scouts, who will also support you as guides through the administration and with the organization and moderation of project preparation events. For projects that are to be submitted to European funding programmes, please contact Department 5.2 - European Project Center.
You will get help with researching intellectual property rights and finding project partners from industry at the Excellence Center for Innovation, Transfer and Entrepreneurship „TUD|excite“.
For projects in the field of contract research and research services, please contact the team at Group Contract Research/ Research Services at Unit 1.3 - Administration of External Funding.

If you are looking for funding for your doctorate, please contact Unit 5.4 - Early Career Researchers / Graduate Academy / Postdoc Center. There you will also receive information and support for the early postdoc phase, for travel and printing grants and for the promotion of female researchers.
Please note that we cannot support you with general fundraising or the search for funds that are not to be applied for research projects.
