This regional joint project led by AWO Lausitz gGmbH and TU Dresden’s Center for Open Digital Innovation and Participation (CODIP) focuses on digital and social innovations offering simplification and optimization in living, care and residential environments as well as living spaces and social spheres. Our project addresses the predominantly rural region of Upper Lusatia.
Technological, digital services and products will serve as an innovative way of offering opportunities and support in the region in order to:
- promote needs-oriented independent living under one’s own roof,
- compensate for infrastructural deficits via intelligent connection to one’s living space and make living there more appealing,
- relieve the burden on caring relatives as well as people and organizations in the care industry, and
- help connect the stakeholders involved as well as to optimize the processes they follow.
