Parliamentary Evening

TU Dresden’s first parliamentary evening took place at the end of May 2023. A spotlight was shone on the university’s involvement in Lusatia and two lighthouse projects were introduced that will have a substantial effect on the region and Saxony as a whole in the coming years: the German Center for Astrophysics – Research. Technology. Digitalization. (DZA) and the Smart Mobility Lab (SML).

Science Event in Weißwasser

In the conviction that structural change can only succeed by bringing all relevant stakeholders together and pooling their ideas and skills, TU Dresden and the DRESDEN-concept research alliance joined forces with the Saxon State Ministry for Regional Development and the City of Weißwasser to host the networking event “Shaping Structural Change Together” in Weißwasser in September 2022. Inspired by presentations of forward-thinking projects in the region, participants discussed further opportunities for cooperation. The following projects were presented by representatives of TU Dresden:

A tour through DRESDEN-concept’s science exhibition and an intercultural family-friendly festival with a science mile took place following the networking event.
