TU Dresden is one of the most patented universities in Germany. Every year, around 100 new inventions are protected with a patent. In most cases, patent protection is granted in several countries and regions, meaning that the total number of patent applications is significantly higher.

Analysis of inventions:

• Personal advice on the protectability and scope of protection of your invention as well as on general questions relating to industrial property rights
• Advice on IP-related provisions in cooperation agreements
• Information on the Employee Inventions Act
• Opportunities to conduct your own searches on patents, designs, trademarks etc. at the Patent Information Center at TU Dresden (PIZ)

Application and management of copyright laws:
