TU Dresden is among the universities with the most patents in Germany. Every year, about 100 inventions are newly protected with a patent. In most cases, patent protection takes place in several countries and regions, so that the total number of patent applications is significantly higher.

ANALYSIS OF INVENTIONS:
- Personal advice to inventors on the protectability and scope of your invention as well as on general questions regarding industrial property rights.
- Advice on regulations in cooperation agreements
- Information on the Employee Invention Act
- Information on own search possibilities and the use of the Patent Information Center at the TU Dresden (PIZ)
REGISTRATION AND MANAGEMENT OF IP RIGHT:
- Development of registration strategies
- Support in the preparation and receipt of invention disclosures

EXPLOITATION OF INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

- Support with intellectual property issues in spin-offs and corporate investments
- Payment of the inventor's compensation
- Negotiation of exploitation contracts with companies
