Individual Coaching for Doctoral Candidates and Postdocs
Coaching is a professional counseling format that offers goal and solution-oriented support during career-related change and development processes.
The Graduate Academy offers individual coaching for GA members. The individual coaching is conducted by GA staff members with a systemic coaching qualification and relies on the GA Counseling Mission Statement. Concerns and topics for individual coaching might concern the following areas:
- preparation of the doctoral defense, presentations or important talks
- work organisation and time management
- job-related crises and conflicts
- career orientation
- decision-making processes: Working in academia – should i stay or should I go?
- work-life balance
