Invitation to the workshop: Motherhood and science - empowerment for mothers* and further training for gender equality actors on 25.01.2024
We would like to invite you to our workshop "Motherhood and Science - Empowerment for Mothers* and Further Education for Gender Equality Actors".
The workshop offers a space for mothers* to share their experiences in science and to network with each other. We are delighted that the founders of the Mutterschaft & Wissenschaft network, Dr. Lena Eckert and Dr. Sarah Czerney, will be leading the workshop. In addition to current data on the compatibility of motherhood and science, structural disadvantages that mothers* are confronted with in the academic world will be discussed.
The workshop will enable participants to experience both solidarity and individual empowerment. In addition, the workshop also offers gender equality actors and other multipliers the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the topic.
Concrete implementation strategies to support mothers* who work at TU Dresden can be developed in exchange with each other.
The workshop is aimed at mothers* and gender equality actors in science.
