WANTED: SUPER SUPERVISOR 2025

Supervision ^EXCELLENT

We established our Supervisory Award in 2017 to spotlight the importance of good supervision for doctoral candidates, making TU Dresden one of the first universities in Germany to establish such a prize.

Also, we offer a range of workshops on “Excellent Supervision” for supervisors, postdocs, and doctoral candidates.

Your Super Supervisor

• Does your doctoral supervisor inspire you?
• Does he/she answer all your questions?
• Are you receiving (or have you received) reliable guidance for your career?
• Is the constructiveexchange of ideas and transparent communication a given?

Requirements

• All TU Dresden doctoral students and postdocs whose doctorate was completed no more than five years ago and who are/ were members of the Graduate Academy are eligible to submit nominations.
• Nominations are accepted for supervisors (professors and TUD Young Investigators)
  of the TU Dresden and the DRESDEN concept partners only.

Selection

The Board of the Graduate Academy will select the winner from the submitted nominations.

Award

The prize money of 3,000 euros is intended to support young researchers
and can be expended for scientific purposes within 2025.
