WANTED: SUPER SUPERVISOR 2026
Doctoral Supervision EXCELLENT
Since 2017, we have been awarding our Supervisory Award to raise awareness of the importance of good supervision for doctoral candidates. The TU Dresden is one of the first universities in Germany to establish such an award.
In addition, we offer workshops on "Doctoral Supervision" for supervisors, postdocs, and doctoral candidates.

Prerequisites for the Nomination
- Eligible for nomination are all doctoral candidates and postdocs at TU Dresden who are or were members of the Graduate Academy and whose doctorate was awarded no more than five years ago.
- Only (junior-) professors and TUD Young Investigators can be nominated.

Selection procedure
The Board of the Graduate Academy will select the award winner from the nominations submitted.
Award
The 3,000 euros in prize money is intended to promote early-career researchers and can be used for scientific purposes until the end of 2026.
