BMBF approves SING „Schule inklusiv gestalten“
The Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) is funding the joint project „Schule inklusiv gestalten - Entwicklung fachdidaktischer Konzepte und organisatorischer Strukturen einer inklusiven Schule“ at the TU Dresden, the Fraunhofer Centre for International Management and Knowledge Economy (Leipzig) and the University of Wuppertal from January 2018 to December 2020.
SING links the subject and vocational didactic perspective with the special needs education perspective in order to build up competences for the development of inclusive subject teaching - i.e. teaching that supports and empowers each individual pupil in his/her development as effectively as possible - among student teachers. An instrument is developed by which the subject-specific diagnostics of the learning status of the learners can be linked with the subject- or vocational-didactic analysis of the objects of appropriation and a staging of learning settings based on this can be derived. The didactically developed learning environment is supported by educational technology and made available to all participants via a responsive learning platform.
The Centre for Integration Studies (ZfI) at the TU Dresden is the project's implementing institution, and the following professorships are involved:
- Chair of Educational Science with a focus on inclusive education (project management)
- Chair of Didactics of Civic Education
- Chair of Educational Technology
- Chair of Work and Organisational Psychology
- Chair of Primary School Education/Mathematics
- Chair of Modern German Literature and Didactics of the German Language
- Chair of Building Technology, Wood Technology, Colour Technology and Interior Design/Vocational Didactics
Funded by the BMBF within the framework of the funding guideline „Qualifizierung pädagogischer Fachkräfte für inklusive Bildung“.
