Extension subject German as a Second Language offers workshop seminar: The tension between language acquisition, interculturality and pedagogical relations
The extension subject German as a Second Language (DaZ) is offering a workshop seminar based on the service learning principle for the second time this winter semester. Student teachers volunteer to teach German as a second language at a cooperating school, are supervised by the university and receive credit points as remuneration.
The integration of children with a DaZ background is a central challenge for everyday school life, which can only succeed with the close cooperation of all teachers. Within the framework of the course offered, students are given the opportunity to gain experience in dealing with multilingual pupils at a Dresden primary school (one morning per week, duration in total: approx. 6 to 8 weeks by individual arrangement), which is reflected upon and scientifically processed within the framework of an accompanying seminar. The focus is on problems in migration education and linguistics.
The number of participants is limited to twelve; please register by E-Mail to .
