On 6th November, the first Ideas Studio "Die Universitätsschule als Forschungsfeld" will take place together with the Centre for Integration Studies (ZfI) and the Project Scout Team of the TU Dresden.

The aim of the event is to intensify research activities on and at the university school and to discuss new disciplinary and interdisciplinary approaches, perspectives and cooperations on the research field of the university school. In addition to discussing research approaches, the Ideas Studio will also focus on developing concrete proposal projects and a proposal strategy for research projects related to the university school.

Following the Ideas Studio, a regular colloquium is planned to ensure the continuous development of the proposal projects. With this comprehensive content-related and coordinative support and assistance with the planned application project, a sensible application strategy and qualitatively outstanding applications should increase the likelihood of the projects being approved.

The University School Dresden is a joint project of the state capital Dresden and the Technical University. It is a public and free primary and secondary school run by the city, where innovative forms of teaching and learning are being tested under scientific supervision. In addition, it will be a TU Dresden training and further education school for future and current teachers.
