Translator: Sarah Schückel (former member of the Welcome Center)
SEE! - Event as part of the cultural programme of #courage2018
To make you feel safer in everyday situations – e.g. after dark or in less-frequented areas – this three-hour course focuses on the essentials and provides you with strategies to avoid conflicts, draw the line and get out of crucial situations. No matter if you’re held at the wrists, from behind or if someone tries to push you down – there’s always a solution. This course shows you how.
The self-defence class focuses on: basic understanding of self-defence, behaviour patterns and tips for crucial situations, simple self-defence strategies, strategies to avoid conflicts.
Learning to say no and to know you can defend yourself if necessary will give you more confidence and make the way home from work or a party after dark seem less daunting.
Females only.
