AI highlight day of the Digital Teaching GSW team

On January 15, 2026, the Digital Teaching GSW team held a spotlight day on the topic of "Artificial intelligence in university teaching". The event was divided into short workshop and input presentations as well as a concluding panel discussion. The first half of the day was dedicated to questions of good scientific practice and practice-oriented recommendations for the use of AI in the teaching context at universities. The focus of the second part of the day was the exchange on rethinking teaching and examination formats in the concluding panel discussion. A big thank you to all participants and Advisors for making the event such a success.

On Thursday, January 15, 2026, the Digital Teaching team cordially invites you to the AI Spotlight Day. In a variety of workshop units, you will gain insights into the theoretical foundations and practical applications of artificial intelligence in university teaching. Afterwards, we will offer you the opportunity to discuss current issues relating to AI in the teaching context in a panel discussion.

All lecturers of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences are invited - regardless of status group or experience background.
