Chair of Education / Inclusive Education
The Chair of Education with a focus on inclusive education was established in 2013 at the Faculty of Education. Since then, it has been held by Prof. Dr. Anke Langner.
This is the only professorship in Saxony that is integrated into the field of general education with a focus on inclusion, rather than operating within the context of special education or inclusion education professorships that differentiate among specific special educational needs. The professorship is tasked with embedding inclusion as a cross-cutting issue in all teacher education programs.
