The Media-Lab
The media lab WEB 68 of the chair for educational technology is available for research (tests, experiments) as well as for the media-oriented project seminars. The students of our courses can realize their own media projects here during the courses and the tutored times.

The room can also be used for a seminar (max. 16 participants), but is primarily intended for work in small groups or individual work on media projects. High-performance WiFi (VPN/WEB and eduroam) is available.
Room design:
The lab has flexible furniture (tables and chairs on wheels) so that the space can be adjusted in a few simple steps depending on the needs of the respective media production. With different curtains, the room can also be acoustically and optically decoupled and adapted.
Interactive media:
An interactive 4K board with integrated Windows and Abdroid PCs is available for experiments and group-oriented developments, but can also be used for demonstrations and presentations.
Audio and video technology:
The workshop has audio and video technology for the production of didactic media. This also includes stationary and transportable light for the various applications. A mobile green screen and stereoscopic video technology are also available for special experiments and productions.
Processing and storage:
Several networked PC workstations with hardware adapters of all kinds and the necessary processing software are available in the workshop to transfer, process and output media data.
3D printing:
The 3D printer ("SparkCubePro 1.1", from SparkLab) with a PC workstation and all accessories, the most diverse filaments and the tools for post-processing and assembly is located in a separate room with ventilation.
Video conference:
From the seminars and exercises, contact with external participants can be established synchronously with the appropriate conference technology (also 360°).
Current:
Due to the pandemic and resources, the media workshop is currently unable to offer free access to the workshop outside of the courses.
