Internship Room BTHTFT

The internship rooms are located in the faculty building MS 1, rooms 189 / 190, Münchnerstraße 1.

The BTHTFT practical rooms are mainly available to teachers and student teachers in the vocational Departments of Construction Technology, Wood Technology, Color Technology and Interior Design. The well-balanced technical equipment and furnishings allow the rooms to be used in a variety of ways as an experimental laboratory, workshop or seminar room.

The practical laboratory course in building materials and didactics provided for in the curriculum of the vocational departments studied takes place in these rooms. This course teaches basic skills in the design, planning, implementation and evaluation of test procedures and experiments in the context of teaching. By combining scientific, epistemological and didactic knowledge, the test procedures and experiments are analyzed and evaluated under various aspects and in relation to the support of the learning process as well as to clarify aspects of occupational, environmental and health protection of occupational work.

In addition, students can develop and test experiment-based teaching concepts in the BTHTFT practical room, which they can then use as part of the practical school exercises, block practicals or as part of a scientific paper.
