Internship Room BTHTFT
The BTHTFT Internship Room housed in WEB 024ae is mainly available to teachers and teacher training students in the vocational disciplines: Maintenance of Buildings, Supervisions and Repairs; Wood Technology; Color Technology and Interior Design. The well-balanced, technical equipment and furnishing enable to the room to be used in a variety of ways as an experimental laboratory, workshop or seminar room (max. 12 people).
In the Internship Room, the laboratory internship for building material didactics is held as part of the curriculum for vocational disciplines. As part of this course, fundamental skills for the conception, planning, implementation and evaluation of test procedures and experiments in the context of teaching are taught. By combining scientific, epistemological and didactic knowledge, the test procedures and experiments are analyzed and evaluated under different aspects. This is also done to support the learning process as well as to clarify aspects of occupational safety, and environmental and health protection of professional work.
In addition, students can develop and test experiment-oriented teaching concepts in the BTHTFT internship room, which they then use as part of the practicals, block internships or of the academic theses.
