Vocational didactics - basics
Objectives and content
The subject of the lectures and seminars in vocational didactics is not only the teaching of basic skills for the analysis of vocational work processes, but also the recognition of the influence of technical developments and organizational forms of vocational work on the design of (one's own) vocational teaching and learning processes.
To this end, typical areas of activity in the Departments are analyzed and content for teaching is derived from this. In the seminars, specific learning situations are to be planned, designed and evaluated in relation to the target group. Further focal points are the examination of didactic concepts and models, the selection and application of methodological approaches in the teaching-learning process, the application of learning and working techniques as well as social and action forms of teaching, the organization of lessons, performance assessment and the use of media in lessons.
The insights gained are implemented in concrete teaching sequences through the planning and implementation of lessons, particularly within the subsequent practical school studies.
