eLearning Course on European VET Policy
How does European policy shape vocational education and training? And which European tools can support VET professionals in their daily work? The eLearning course developed within the EUVET-P project offers an accessible way to explore these questions and get familiar with key European VET policies, frameworks and tools.
The course is designed for VET teachers, trainers and professionals working in vocational education and training, but it can also be useful for professionals and educators from other areas of education who want to gain a better understanding of the European dimension of VET.
Four learning units – flexible learning at your own pace
The eLearning course consists of four learning units, each focusing on a central aspect of European VET policy:

Learning Unit 1: Introduction to EUVET Policy – an introduction to the European dimension of vocational education and training

Learning Unit 2: EQAVET – exploring the European Quality Assurance in Vocational Education and Training

Learning Unit 3: EQF & NQFs – getting to know the European Qualifications Framework and its role in making qualifications more transparent and comparable

Learning Unit 4: Europass – discovering the European tools that support the documentation and presentation of skills and qualifications
Each learning unit takes around two hours to complete and combines key information with interactive activities. The units are independent, allowing learners to focus on the topics that are most relevant to them.
Learn in five languages
The eLearning course is available on OPAL for self-directed online learning in English, Estonian, German, Greek and Portuguese. The individual learning units are also available as downloadable PDF materials in English.
As an Open Educational Resource (OER), the course is licensed under CC BY-NC-SA. The materials can therefore be shared and adapted for non-commercial purposes, with appropriate credit to the original authors.
