MP-INVET: Metaproject on Research for the International­isation of Vocational Education and Training

The Research for the Internationalisation of Vocational Education and Training (VET) funding scheme by the German Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) seeks to strengthen and expand institutionalised VET research as a key feature of international VET co-operation. In this context, MP-INVET aims at

• accompanying the establishment of an inter- and transdisciplinary research network for international VET cooperation;
• organising knowledge exchange and transfer of experience;
• scientific monitoring and evaluation for the systematic stocktaking and analysis of the results of the individual projects of the funding initiative;
• establishing a sustainable data management for the documentation, archiving and re-use of the results and findings;
• developing and establishing an emerging researchers’ community for the sustainable structural stabilisation and consolidation of international VET co-operation.
