Chair of Adult Education at TU Dresden since 2015. Previously Chair of Vocational Education at the University of Osnabrück, Deputy National Expert at CEDEFOP (Thessaloniki). Visiting and deputy professorships at the Universities of Klagenfurt (Austria, 2020), Melbourne (Australia, 2013), Brussels (Belgium, 2012), Oulu (Finland, 2011) and TU Berlin (2008). Alumna of the University of Karlsruhe (today: Karlsruhe Institute of Technology; degree and doctorate) and the TU Darmstadt (habilitation and venia legendi).
