Funding for the BildungsAcker by the Environment Commission

The Environment Commission is providing EUR 8,000 to support the further establishment of the "BildungsAcker" teaching and learning site. The ESD project seminar taking place there enables prospective teachers to experience education for sustainable development. Based on their own experiences on the jointly cultivated farmland, students understand the potential of this interdisciplinary learning location. They reflect on their own learning experiences and develop their own concepts for transformative learning opportunities. The innovative teaching-learning location established in summer semester 2022 by Prof. Nicole Raschke, Geographical Education and JProf. Jana Markert, Nutrition and Home Economics and the Didactics of the Professional Field will be funded by the Environment Commission in 2023.
