Date: 21.08.2025 from 13:00 to 16:00 via Zoom(click here to register)
Registration in the OPAL school course here
Contents and procedure
The training combines theoretical input with practical elements. The starting point is exemplary teaching materials developed by students in the first phase of teacher training. These include explanatory videos (+ factual analyses and learning objectives) to anticipate different work process steps, which can be mapped, for example, using property management systems from hospitality professions.
You will receive the materials, analyze their possible uses and develop teaching concepts based on them for your specific school framework conditions. The collaborative exchange enables reflection on digitalization-related challenges and opportunities.

Nothing seems more desirable for us humans than to lead a long, fulfilled and healthy life. So what is the secret of old age for people in the so-called Blue Zones of our planet? The answer is certainly complex. The predominantly plant-based diet of the population and the associated high intake of phytochemicals is striking. You can find out what these food components are all about and what effect they can have on our bodies in the practical workshop "Secondary plant substances". Plant-based dishes are presented and further information is provided. This practical workshop is suitable for omnivores, vegetarians and vegans.

A balanced diet for people and the planet is one of the most important issues: on the one hand, it must be based on the principles of ecological sustainability, but on the other hand it must also provide a constantly growing world population with healthy food. Scientists and politicians around the world are facing this challenge. The Planetary Health Diet is a way of eating that is good for both our planet and ourselves.
