Information on module and state examinations
MODULE EXAMINATIONS
You will take examinations during your studies in the individual modules. The module examinations are adapted to the competence requirements described in the respective modules and are included in the state examination grade at the end of your studies.

THE FIRST STATE EXAMINATION
General information on the first state examination can be found on the website of the Center for Teacher Education and Educational Research (ZLSB).
FINAL THESES
At the end of your studies, you can write your final thesis in Educational Sciences or in your Department or in your chosen second subject. If you write your thesis in the Department of Health and Nursing/Vocational Didactics, you can present your concerns and questions during the writing process in colloquia of the department and also have the opportunity to be awarded a degree.
ORAL AND WRITTEN STATE EXAMINATION
At the end of your studies, you will take an oral state examination in the Department of Health and Nursing and in the second subject. Depending on the examination area, the examination consists of a scientific and/or didactic part. The written state examination in the form of a written exam is required in the field of educational sciences.
