Further education and training

The department is also active in further education and training. This includes in-service training for teachers (BQL) for the subjects of economics, technology and household/social affairs as well as technology and computers, as well as the organization of specialist conferences and state competitions.

The workspace

Business, Technology and Household/Social Sciences (WTH/S) comprises two degree programs, various continuing education courses and research groups. Around 450 students are enrolled on the courses. This makes WTH/S one of the largest providers of subject-specific and subject-didactic teacher training at TU Dresden.
