Module 4 - Didactics of the subject Crafts (EW-SEGS-D-WER-4)
In addition to general didactic principles, the module covers the planning, implementation and evaluation of lessons in the subject of handicrafts.
After completing the module, students will be able to create competence-oriented teaching arrangements using didactic principles. They are familiar with models of technology didactics and specific teaching methods (e.g. manufacturing, construction, experimentation) and reflect on these against the background of their use in handicraft lessons. Students are able to plan and initiate problem-solving processes. They create appropriate and student-oriented didactic materials and exercise formats. They will be able to reflect on the role of everyday and technical language in lessons. Students are able to subject complex technical procedures and contexts to didactic reduction. They are able to plan learning processes in a differentiated and interdisciplinary way. Students can analyze curricula and educational standards and relate them to teaching practice.
The module consists of two seminars:
Didactics of Crafts 1 (EW-SEGS-D-WER-4(1)) in the summer semester and
Didactics of Crafts 2 (EW-SEGS-D-WER-4(2)) in the winter semester.
