Further education and training

The department is also active in further education and training. This includes in-service training for teachers (BQL) for the subjects of economics, technology and household/social affairs as well as technology and computers, as well as the organization of specialist conferences and state competitions.

The workspace

The department offers two degree programs, various continuing education courses, and research groups. Approximately 450 students are enrolled in the degree programs. This makes WTH/S one of the largest providers of subject-specific and subject-didactic teacher education programs at TU Dresden.
