The Chair of General Didactics and Instructional Research …
… on the one hand focuses on offering a multitude of courses and supervision options for prospective teachers, including the closely linked reappraisal of the history and theory of school and instruction. On the other hand, the analysis of school as a field of action constitutes an important focal point. At this, different protagonists within teacher training and teaching profession – from pupils to teacher trainees to teaching staff in schools – are central to empirical research. Furthermore, die chair is participating in indicator-based educational reporting, regional school development, and Educational Governance.
