New publication: "Anthropologies of virtuality. Pedagogies of possibility, design and imagination"
This volume begins with basic theoretical reflections on the relationship between different concepts of people and virtuality. In doing so, anthropological dimensions of the meaning of virtuality for the description of pedagogical dimensions and processes are elaborated. Subsequently, virtuality comes into view as a condition of human appropriation of the world in the various areas of pedagogical activity. The high relevance of virtuality in pedagogical concepts and practices in turn points to its anthropological implications. In terms of content, three focal points are addressed: 'the body and the self', 'the other and society' and 'nature and the world'. (blurb)
