Our Role
The Learning and Research Workshop for Primary Schools of Technische Universität Dresden (LuFo) is intended to contribute to innovation in higher education didactics for teacher training. It offers space for self-organized, explorative and research-based learning for students and teachers. In a stimulating learning environment, they can familiarize themselves with appealing methods and teaching materials that support forms of self-determined learning. The process of developing and testing one’s own ideas regarding the design of lessons and materials is meant to stimulate the student’s reflection on children’s learning processes. Furthermore, synergies are created between studies, science and practice, practical research in schools and extracurricular cooperation partners. On top of this, the learning and research workshop aims at developing and realizing (student) research projects.
