Our Team

The LuFo is jointly managed by faculty members and student staff from four Chairs. Together, we oversee the ongoing development of the Learning and Research Workshop, its programs, and the use of its spaces and materials.

Chairs

The Elementary School Learning and Research Workshop (LuFo) brings together different perspectives on elementary school and teaching. As an interdisciplinary institution, four Chairs collaborate within LuFo and contribute their respective areas of focus:

Coordination

The Coordination Office consolidates the organizational and conceptual work of the LuFo and facilitates coordination among the participating Chairs.

Staff from the Chairs

Staff members from the four participating Chairs contribute their subject-specific and pedagogical perspectives to the LuFo. Together, they further shape and develop the LuFo’s programs and areas of work and take on various responsibilities in organization, public relations, and the design of student programs.

Student Staff

Our student staff members are assigned to the four participating Chairs and are on site during open workshop hours. They assist students and faculty with questions about the LuFo, help them find suitable materials, and guide them on how to use and borrow them. They also contribute to the areas of work listed above.
