Mathe für Cracks
Are you interested in math? Do you enjoy tasks where you don't have to do the math straight away, but first have to think carefully, look at the problem from different angles and puzzle over it for a while? You don't just believe what you're told, but want to understand why something is supposed to be like that? |
Our activities give you the chance to discover mathematics for yourself, try out tips and strategies for solving mathematical problems and gain insights into the applications of mathematics. |
In cooperation with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für das hochbegabte Kind e.V. (DGhK e.V.), the Chair of Primary Education / Mathematical Education at TU Dresden offers a program for mathematically interested and high-achieving students in grades 3 to 5.
The aim is to familiarize students with approaches and strategies for problem solving, reasoning and proof , to give them insights into various facets of mathematics and areas of application, to strengthen their interest in mathematics and to enable them to get to know like-minded people.
